Produção Científica Sobre Aplicativos para Tratamento de Lesões Cutâneas

Abstract

ABSTRACT
Objective: to carry out a survey on the scientific production of applications that address the topic of wound treatment. Method: this is an integrative literature review. The selected works were published between 2018 and 2024 and data collection took place between August and September 2024. The information was collected from the Virtual Health Library, PubMed and the Periodical Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel in Portuguese and English. Results: after selection and screening, ten works were considered. The results were analyzed, emerging the following thematic categories: I- Development of mobile technologies and use of applications in clinical nursing practice; II- Challenges and opportunities in implementing mobile applications in healthcare; III- Evaluation of the effectiveness of mobile applications developed to assist in the management of wounds and dressings. Conclusion: it was found that there is a scarcity of applications available in the area studied, in the data sources selected for the study, identifying a small variety of technological resources developed for the prevention and treatment of skin lesions.
